Yeah, and that guy from Telekom, too, whazzisname? Vinokourov? winning Paris Nice after his best
friend died? What an asshole.

How close to Casartelli was Armstrong? I doubt that the friendship ran very deep. Vino and Kivalev
were much closer. Take a look at the charity race Ullrich did with him at the end of the season.
IIRC, it was covered recently in either Cycle Sport of Pro Cycling.

Well, I have enough respect for Lance as to be a bit circumspect. When it comes to Bush I can barely
manage to keep speaking English.

I think Bush is a stupid, cowardly, lying, weasel faced, spoiled rich kid. He reminds me of every
stereotype evil rich kid in every rich man/poor man themed movie that I have ever seen.

The man was elected on character issues. This I find ironic, since he hasn't any character. I would
vote for weenie waggling Clinton a hundred times over before I would the spot of shame that now
fills the presidency.

Tell us how you really feel... I mean that sincerely, since so few people do this. However, I wasn't
merely referring to Bush when I meant 'world leader', there are plenty of other scuzzbags out there.

I watched PN and it didn't seem sleazy at all. Everyone was obviously traumatized, the guys on
Cofidis were all crying. It was so sad, Vino clutching his bouquet and sobbing and weeping. I'm
amazed he was able to go on, but for some I guess it's just the opposite- you either can't go on or
it makes you more determined. He probably figured his friend would have done the same if the
situation was reversed. Anyways, how many sappy tv movies and whatever make us all blubber for the
exact same reason, like hitting a home run for the little dying kid ("I'm DYING???").

Just finished O'Neil's book. I suggest you get a copy and read it. They're a bunch of
characters alright.

Are you saying I dont have a right to an opinion based on my employer ? Or are you saying I only
have a right to your opinion ?

>
> You bleeding heart F'ing liberal cry baby. I bet he has more character than you ever did!!

And your mama wears combat boots !!!

Do you see how childish this statement appears ? Yet, you have no more information on which to
assess my character then I have to assess your mother's choice in footwear. On the other hand there
is a wealth of public information available on which to base an assessment of Bush's character.

Stupid
- He appeared ignorant in the election debates...remember taunts like "That's liberal math" when
trying to counter Gore's points on the budget ?
- Not a particularly impressive academic record

Cowardly
- Dodges the draft through Daddy setting up the reserve position
- Fails to follow orders to report to duty under that very same reserve position
- Says "Bring it on" to the Iraqis ...who did...to the tune of hundreds of American soldier's lives.
- Hid in some underground bunker during 9/11.

Lying
- Runs on an anti-nation building plank and then promptly works on a strategy to nation
build in Iraq.

Weasel faced
- self evident

Spoiled rich kid
- Again, Daddy's reserve position
- Placements in prestigious schools despite his poor academic record
- Spent much of his youth drunk

If you need specific references for any of these points ...they can be provided.

PSI also consider "You bleeding heart F'ing liberal cry baby." as a compliment. Thanks.

I'm not always the biggest fan of Lance, but I had no problem with that at all. What better way
to honor the memory of a teammate (or other person you had a connection to) than to win a race
(or other event)? That kind of thing happens pretty regularly, in all kinds of sports.

Hey Matt--
I've got a great idea. Since this is a cycling forum, why don't you shut the f*** up and keep your off-topic comments to yourself.

I agree unless Bush has a new Madone 5.9 and hidden talents.
I would have to bet on Hillary Clinton. Her thighs look much more powerful.

And further more why do so many people hate winners and try to tear them down. Always looking for hidden agendas. Maybe if Ullrich wins he can be a target for a while. You know all those nice polite cycling racers? Nobody does! Because they don't win. You have to be somewhat of an a-hole to race theTDF. And the best a-hole wins. And I mean that in the nicest way.
