Triathlon you did, "triathlete" you are not, but if *you* are

    that matters.

Just curious, in your peculiar world-view,

With your well-known and much derided feminist and politically correct
outlook on life, you are hardly qualified to suggest that *my*
"world-view" is "peculiar", other perhaps than to acknowledge that it
is at a huge variance with your own, which I suppose in your zaniness
you may well qualify it as "peculiar"!!

which people completing a triathlon are triathletes?

We have been through all this before and it is an ongoing argument by
'wannabes' who think because they have a tennis racquet, short skirt
and knickers, and got knocked out in their first game of the first
round of the club novices championships, that they are tennis players.

You are about as much a "triathlete" as my starboard testicle.
However, this is the Internet and you can be who and what you want to
be - and most people are! ;o)

So Dally is a "triathlete" because that is the latest thing she wants
to be, and because that is now how she describes herself. So here it
    is once more:

    Dally is a "triathlete"!! ;o)

    OK now?

    Dally

    All of them.

Maybe only the top half of the field.

I agree that actions need to back it up. So do you think training six
days a week for the sport for seven months would qualify as actions?
How about showing up and competing in a sanctioned event? How about
showing up and competing in two sanctioned events? At what point does
the term of art apply to that person more so than your starboard testicle?

I personally had some quibbles with the people I saw walking the run who
couldn't even be bothered to pick up the pace to break a sweat at the
end. Maybe they were barely limping in after giving it their all
earlier, but it looked somewhat less than the effort I was putting into
it and felt kind of squeamish at they're being called triathletes, too.
So I see what you mean. But I think that comes back to putting
actions behind the words. I'm not a triathlete because I said so, or
even because I showed up one Sunday morning. I'm a triathlete because
I've been training assiduously in three sports for the better part of a
year now and I show up day after day, week after week, month after month
and work on my sport and, as a consequence, I can do it.

You asked once if your scorn motivated me. Yes, it motivated me to
leave MFW. This [censored] just brings me down. I'm doing an absolutely
fantastic job of integrating challenges into my life and then MEETING
    them.

You could learn a thing or two from me if you cared to. You'd rather
lean back in your chair and make derisive comments about women and yearn
for Your Day. I say you should get off the computer and go pick up one
of those tennis racquets and see if you can't beat the knickered ladies
    with the freshly strung racquets.

Thanks, T. I had a startle this morning when I went to my training log
and it was utterly blank. What the hell, I've been working my butt off!
But it was a fresh month, a clean slate, and utterly empty. It was a
clear reminder that I can't just rest on my laurels, what I did
    yesterday doesn't matter anymore.

I think I'll go for a swim at noon.

Dally, why are you sneering at Charles? Don;t you agree that he is simply
trying to get through the week so he can enjoy the weekend? Do you enjoy
your weekends nearly as much? That is a challenge that Charles does
regularly *and* does very well at.

Well, you have to admit, driving people away IS Hudson's forte. Inflicting
his pompous attitude on others is his primary form of exercise.

You may have some different views on things. But at least you are sincere in
them. And you don't define your personality by inflicting scorn on others.

    Unlike Hudson.

Well I have never described any part of my anatomy as a "triathlete",
so you are one up on my "starboard testicle"!!

That is ironic given how protective and admiring of you that I used to
be. It was you that decided to start a feud because of your feminism
    and PC.

I like to think that I had something to do with extinguishing your
Usenet enthusiasm and excess, but my efforts paled into insignificance
given the fear of Christ that Buck managed to put up you. It was he
that did the business, plus the fact you don't like to see your real
    name published.

With that kind of squeamishness I'm surprised that:

    a. You came back for more.

    b. You continue to be rude to those you know will respond and give
    you the [censored]!!

It's nothing to do with "women" per se, I love women to pieces so
don't wander about generalising about one of my hobbies. It's stroppy
PC bints and feminists that get up my nose, as well you know!! ;o)

i wouldn't put too much effort into reading the words that an

Another tactic that Chucky has adopted from Mr Hankey is to chang his e-mail
addy constantly. I have killfiled his royal pain in the ass numerous times.
But like a bad fungus, he keeps coming back.

Although you may enjoy this kind of [censored], I was merely pointing out how

that you obviously take delight in.

Back into the bozo bin for you. This will be about the twentieth time. And

you agree that Lee has driven him away?
    t

Jim is probably just sleeping it off.......

Lee doesn't have the capacity to drive people away, he sends them to
sleep with all his whining and whingeing about whining and whingeing
"trolls" whining and whingeing about Lee whingeing and whining and
    ........... zzzzzzzzzz............

But, you have to give him credit. He is very good at what he does. .

Well, you have to admit, driving people away IS Hudson's forte.
    Inflicting
his pompous attitude on others is his primary form of exercise.

You may have some different views on things. But at least you are sincere
    in
them. And you don't define your personality by inflicting scorn on others.

    Unlike Hudson.

Another tactic that Chucky has adopted from Mr Hankey is to chang his e-mail
addy constantly. I have killfiled his royal pain in the ass numerous times.
But like a bad fungus, he keeps coming back.

With the greatest respect you baboon faced [censored], I was changing
"email addies" long before the smelly turd man ever thought of it!!

Although you may enjoy this kind of [censored], I was merely pointing out how
MFW's decline can be directly attributed to scumbags like yourself.

I do hope I've got the credit for giving back in spades what was
dished out to me, by some of the [censored] that have long-since
    departed!! ;o)

Back into the bozo bin for you. This will be about the twentieth time.

    Ooops! This looks familiar territory!

And if you were so universally revered chucky,

Are you sure your are using the right word there William? ;o)

    Quoted message said:

why do you have to change your e-mail addy constantly?

Because I can, and because it gives you the [censored]!! ;o)
