I once wrote a poem about snot. Actually, it was about where the stuff goes.
You know, like when you blow a big wad while riding and the lingering portion is
still all over your nose and you rub it on the terry-cloth part of the glove?
And then you do it again later that day or the next day, then the next day and
it never seems to build up. I know there's no way that slimy [censored] is
evaporating but it seems to just disappear.

I always wondered if another roadie happened along behind me and durfed it after
hitting a patch of my road nose on smooth asphalt. Statistically speaking, afer
all these years and all that blown snot, it's highly probable that it has
happened. I mean, I have no doubt laid down a ton of snot on America's roads,
probably more. So if you went down unexpectedly and couldn't figure out why, it
was probably due to my snot. Sorry.
