I could make better shoes. I only have one pair (handmade Italian ones)

    that

need polishing, and I use butter.

I have Docs because they fit my feet lovely and they're sturdy (some caps have saved my toes from
    extinction).

I don't get on with them. I have a pair of Mack Bulldog (truck people) branded steelies, and they
are ace. They have lasted me 10 years hard use so far, with little sign of wear. I got them free
when my little bro' worked for a truck placve, but they were catalogued at £80.

I watch trendies recoil in horror one minute and be seen in nothing else the next. Now they've
moved production from Northampton to China ( I think) and then it will just be another [censored]
    brand. Just brilliant.

Though I wouldnt mind some nice italian shoes. Maybe Sidi should do SPD brogues.

Brogues suck scum. My italian shoes are _fine_. I wear them when I have my full (minus cummerbund -
cummerbunds are just silly) evening outfit on. I have a Hornes dress shirt.

Andy Chequer, they do anti-fungal powder too y'know.

I don't get that problem really, but if I should, tea tree oil works

    well.

    Quoted message said:

Tea tree oil is great. Stings though, don't it!

It is great. It didn't sting me - when I sawed my thumb knuckle before Christmas, right down to the
bone nearly, all I used was pure tea tree and pure lavendar essential oils (no conventional
disinfectants at all), poured straight into the gaping gash (ahem). No sting. It's healed now, and
there is hardly a scar. It didn't get infected at all, even though the wood saw was extremely rusty
and dirty. Pity I still can't get full thumb motion though.

Shaun aRe - 'Toes', they're like little stubby foot-fingers really.
