yesterday I started my MASSIVE HUGE trials course.
I don't think I'm going to plan it out at all, just leave it as it
falls :)
don't get me wrong I'm building stuff, just not planning where its

Yesterday I did my first turn SIF w/o a rail next to me for safety, I
also rode in a circle SIF in the very same attempt:D

It was on a 16" CX though  (just got it back from on loan). Not
really any easier than on my 20 but falling is a lot less scary. I
want to master the technique in that uni (also w/ SIB and riding
backwards) before transfering it to my 20 and 24.

Up or down? Up would be damn impressive:cool:

I do that EVERY time I go riding. It doesn't even **** me off that
much any more because it is just expected now. If I don't ride for a
few days and It begins to heal it just forms a big scar that sticks
out, only to be chopped off by my crank the next time I ride. I even
keep a collection of all my bloody socks.

Anyways, here is my story for today.

I got home from writing my science exam (which went very well) and I
went for a uni. For some reason I just sucked at unicycling that ride,
I don't know why. I did manage to land a 4 foot drop, but I sacked
myself REALLY hard when I landed. Then I tried to hop up a ledge that
was about a foot high, and for some reason I just couldn't do it. I
just stayed beside it hopping forever and just couldn't hop up it. It
****** me off so I hopped up and down a picnic table for a while
instead. I was riding so bad that I could barely even do a unispin.
Then I got home I attempted a 360 unispin, but I didn't catch the seat
or the pedals and sacked myself REALLY hard again. So I went inside.

Just a little while ago I went back out again to ride and I acually
made alot of progress. I increased my rolling distance hop of 4 feet
to 4.5 feet. And I managed to do 2 leg wraps before I came back
inside. I did both of them in a row and figured I should quit while I
was ahead.

I will be going back out again after supper becuase the leg wraps got
me really pumped.

Sorry that post was so long I just wanted to get all that out of my
system.:)

Big weekend for me:
Rolling hopped a 5,6, and 7 set, and attempted (and failed) an 8.
Grinded a big sloped ledge.
Landed a 360 unispin with no correction hops
Jumped off my 5 ft. mailbox
Gapped over 3 ledges about 4 ft across by 4 feet down.

I broke my 10mph barrier. Yeah, I ride slow.

On my Nimbus 36, I hadn't timed my speed recently, but today I happened
upon one of the police signs that remind you of the speed limit and has
radar to show your current speed.

I had just ridden 10 miles and was tired, still I sped up an got that
sign to register 10mph! Verified! :)

I just bought a *****in Thompson seat post for my KH muni, but got it
for only $38 thru ebay, instead of $85 elsewhere! It's slightly used
but not cut, bent or worn; it's like new.:D There was nothing really
bad about my standard KH post, but I accidentally cut it too short, so
I thought I might as well get the best post to replace it!

Maybe I should have let this thread die? I guess it's the best place to
post this though.

Last night I went out for my first serious long street/trials ride in a
while and totally owned up on all my previous records and high
points.... SIF sidehop up like 3 stairs, up a 22 inch-ish ledge, etc.
Nothing spectacular, but I thought it was cool.

Then, though, I finally had the balls to attempt this gap that I've
been looking at for about a year.... It's hard to explain, but it feels
pretty cool since it's off of a roof and over some stairs sideways.
It's really probably equivalent to a long 6 set, but the stairs aren't
there, so it's a lot scarier. Anyways, I got it like 2 out of 4 tries,
so I was pretty jacked. Video perhaps later.

I couldn't post yesterday, so this is a few hours old...
I tried grinding for the first time ever and I got it after a couple of
minutes and a lot of falls.:)
It's easier than I thought, but quite scary at first. I also noticed
like most people do that my flange is now bent, but whatever.

I also managed to rolling hop up the gutter backwards, ride down the
gutter backwards and jump off the gutter backwards for the first time.

Boy was that one heck of a day...
