Lol well most people do hate exercising including me. I stuck with it a
pretty long time one time and got some good definition. Of course I didn't
have any flab to lose first so it made that easier. I've had a herniated
disc since 2000 so it pretty much killed my ambition for exercise.
As far as your diet goes chief all I can say if it works for you and your
happy with it then good for you. I eat a terrible diet including tons of
starches and sugar although I have cut back on sugar quite a bit..I stopped
eating meat completely for about 5 months and have been now about twice a
week.Mostly out of boredom. I even wonder about fish now depending on where
they are caught. There's a lot of mercury contamination in the water
especially fresh water and that [censored] is in the fishes DNA make up. Veggies
are sprayed with dozens of pestisides and herbicides and even now
genetically altered food that has a resistence to Round Up.Some even say
the wax on fruits to perserve them is dangerous.Look up Monsanto and see
what horror stories you see about their seeds.
Hot house tomatoes are blasted with gas in a closed trailer to turn them
red overnight. In short it's a [censored] shoot no matter what you eat unless
it's organic. Now we have [censored] coming over fro Mexico where their laws are
even more lenient than ours.
FOB said:You're wrong about animal protein. And how much is too much? I average
<100 grams of protein a day, I don't have the ability to pull out the
sources but believe that less than 2/3 of that is animal protein. Even
less if you don't count fish as "animal". What else do you count as
animal, are cheese and eggs animal?
I don't have will power, I just like the low carb way of eating. Part of
that may be my age, I have done enough eating of carby things that I
don't need to do it again. If I had will power I would make myself
exercise. I know it's very good for you but hate it and have some pain
issues that make it even more detestable. However, I am willing to
accept the consequences of my inaction. You won't see me whining that I
can't lose weight or am flabby.

| Seriously FOB,I'm just messing with you. If you have found a way that
| works for you then god bless you.But I do worry about people that eat
| a lot of animal protein. It still the main cause of plaque building up
| in your arteries. That of course leads to high blood pressure and
| other issues. But I know someone on Southbeach and he swears by it as
| far as weight cholesterol and BP.However he does walk several miles a
| day which helps a lot too. In actuality a sentintary lifestyle make
| be the biggest risk factor in a lot of folks problems. The body needs
| to be challenged to stay young. It's even being shown that keeping
| the mind challenged has slowed altheimers.
|
| Good luck with your diet. I admire anyone who has the will power to
| kick anything that's a problem for them.
