buddy, who is leading us, has a huge collection of rides that are just

these is his killer ride up Fiddler's Elbow, probably the steepest road in
the East. That is not on tap for tomorrow, thankfully.

That's just painful! That ride is not on my list (yet ;-). There's a
September club ride called "Hillier Than Thou" (Central Jersey Bike
Club) that has that on the 100. I've not worked up to that yet. I'm
only good for about 50 miles of real hills. I ride the flat lands and
the only thing you need to worry about is to keep pedaling. :-)

There is a lot of good road ring in NJ, Fiddler's is over by
Washington Twp, I lead rides out of the Cranberry area. There are
great rides out of Morristown, Western Jersey Wheelmen have rides
further west and north. Brookdale or Manasquan for shore
rides. Hopewell for that portion of the state. I know there are more
down south but I don't know where. There are some really gorgeous
rides out of Bridgewater out to Hunterdon County. I wish I knew them
better. This year I'm working on rides from Monroe to Ringoes, Monroe
to Brielle and Monroe to Chatsworth.

There seem to be alot of wonderful places to ride in NJ. The more I
think about good Ole Joisey, the more I appreciate it. I am looking
forward to riding alone as well as in a few group rides this year.
First I am doing a walk for the March of Dimes. No bikes allowed.

There is a really cute picture of the guy I am walking for on my web
site. He is a real doll. It's the March of Dimes Walk America. Maybe
this will help prepare me for the MS ride as well.
I am going to look up some of these rides. They sound like great rides,
even with our wonderful Jersey rep.
