T-Mobile in disarray

Luuc Eisenga will be Sports director at TM (he was a TM press officer under Godefroot and Ludwig, but before that he worked for the UCI and was DS at Saecco in the Cippolini years), untill now only Michael Rogers extended his contract with TM. It's unclear if Sinkewitz, Klöden, Kessler, Wesemann, Goncharand Mazzoleni will stay.

T-mobile has made Klöden an offer this week. Christian Frommert said that they had discussed everything with Klöden at length but they would not wait for an answer endlessly.

Yeah but the article also said that the offer came for a few days, so Klöden had to wait endlessly.... I think he will leave, but who knows?😉

You (desperately) want him to leave?...Don´t like magenta? Nor do I, as far as the colour is concerned, but most team jerseys are far from being haute couture.

He's waiting on the Ullrich verdict,if he can hold out that long.

Magenta is cool and will be sorely missed in the Peloton if TMOB bails. Let's hope not.

TM has spent many budget dollars in the US and Europe on cycling related events. They have participated in many grass roots events in the US where some Euro teams have not.

Does anyone know what happened to iShares involvement with a procycling team? Are they still going to sponsor the Swiss based team?

This year may be realized as one of the pinacles of the sport of cycling and the next second the very pit of it. Talk about the rug being pulled from under you.
What next?
No rain tomorrow so I will take a good long ride in reasonably hot temperatures.

Jan to be cleared and he will honeymoon .....well here!

I criticised DC for letting Azcevdo go.

But TM's letting Kloden walk is madness too.

I think Mobile want out of the sport - that's what I am hearing.
Mobile's marketing people think that sport in general terms is seen as a haven for doping and they don't want their product to be associated with the sport.

Seems that football isn't perceived to have a drug problem.

To what i heard he hasn't, only Rogers resigned untillnow, but that may have changed over the weekend. Sinkewitz unclear, Wesemann unclear...

The rumour is: Bernhard Eisel will join TM and there are talks between Hushovd and TM. If that's all correct it's clear why TM signed Knaven. They will go for the classics....

Don´t rush things, according to the Spanish press and cycling4all, T-Mobile is interested in 2 non-tainted young riders of the former Liberty Seguros Team.
I keep my fingers crossed and very much hope they´ll decide to race for a German team.

I wonder if this could be true:
In a German forum rumor has it that Tom Boonen and Damiano Cunego might change to TMO in 2007.

Nay, don´t take that too seriously, it was just wishful thinking out of despair.

Germans have been robbed of their heroes and there are no new heroes of German origin in sight, Klöden is going east. We have thousands of Kazakhs here that the social system(taxpayer) has to sustain just because they claim that their grandgrandgrandmother was German, so on the whole it seems just that Kazakhs have at least two Germans on their payroll.😄
