The early possible story line we got was that it was a really good upright racer who could'nt
race on standard bicycles anymore.

We have no real idea at this point, we'll find out tomorrow night!

I see Dennis Miller is being introduced as a new character tonight. Perhaps it will show him riding
in to school for his first day. There are many scenarios floating in my head, many of them involving

Did anyone videotape it? I saw it and wish I could remember the specifics of the dialog. But the
gist was that the good racer wasn't able to ride regular bikes any more because his muscle
degenerative disease caused him to fall when he rode the upright bike - but with a recumbent - he
wouldn't fall. This didn't really make sense to me and I was wondering if the writers of the show
had heard about recumbent trikes - as of course a trike would better enable someone to keep upright
if the person had some sort of physical problem with leg muscles - but that the trike part got lost
along the way...

What WOULD have been a neat story line would be for a student or teacher who was an avid cyclist
being diagnosed with MS, then needing a trike due to the loss of balance. As it was it was sort of
stupid - but what did we expect?

A good reminder to why I do not have a TV, and in the U.K. the soaps are not as lame as the
U.S. ones.

I agree. The story line was very lame (along with the other story lines for the episode). I
only taped the show out of curiosity when Rich tipped us off that a Strada was going to be part
of the show.
