I've found over the past few months that if I indulge myself in ANY
starchy foods now, I get ill.My opinion:
The way I felt before I started low carbing was what I thought
"normal" was.
I've considered that aspect actually. ;-)
I've gotten so used to feeling good after eating "properly" now, that I
notice it more when I do something wrong...
It could be as simple as that?

On 21 Jul 1999 I started Atkins and my health began to change
for the better. I learned what foods trigger intolerance
symptoms, what foods cause blood sugar swings, you name it.What I NOW think is "normal" is a level of health I don't
think I ever had before I started low carbing. But NOW I
think it's normal. Now if I go back to feeling what used to be "normal" before
I started low carbing, I call it being ill. I'm more
sensative to my health and I have higher standards now for
what counts as ill. Even with those higher standards I get
ill a lot less often.
We learn to "listen" to our bodies more methinks!
