So which one were you? I was there, and if you were you saw either Ed on the silver BMW or me on the green Triumph. Justin did his thing and was competitive but didn't do the Crit. I didn't ask him why he didn't do the crit. Why don't you tell us? Bill C

I'm not sure if Konrad Lebas is going to be ribing for Richard this year, but if he is that's going to be awesome. I know I posted about how psyched I was about Konrad being with Sachs last year, and if he's there with Justin this year that's even better. I did get to talk with Justin for a few minutes after GMSR and let him know that I was on his side, and wished him success. He was polite, friendly, and personable. Bill C
konrad, and justin, and tyler johnson, and jamey driscoll. plus alicia and katrina. we b psyched. e-RICHIE
So you do have more display space for trophies, medals, awards etc...? So you're sending Konrad and Jamey to 'Cross worlds? That's cool they can keep Toby company. If you look Jamey was 4th at GMSR and Toby who rides for Chris was 8th.
http://www.bikereg.com/News/Results04/20040903GMSRgc.asp (Steve Roszko who runs BikeReg won the 30+ crit) This was THE best and fastest Jr. field GMSR has seen. They were the major reason we had to shuffle the start times for the road race. They were incredibly fast and we wanted to avoid them catching other fields. They finished in an 8up sprint at the top of App. Gap. That's unheard of. I clocked one of the big chase groups after Middlebury Gap, on a mostly flat, at sustained 40mph for a couple of miles. This was an incredible Jr field. Bill C

Warren-issimo Is this Jeopardy? :>😉
The craftsman in CT who makes the most beautiful, nice-riding bicycle frames there are.
Yeah, he was missing something...its called a water bottle! I guess Justin was too busy this spring to notice the problem we had with littering, because he was the only one who felt the need to toss his 1 oz bottle!
Now if you want to talk about an impressive result look at 5th spot. I've known Dan since he was 17 and its good to see he's getting his head on straight with racing. Expect to see big results from him in 2005, and maybe even cross this fall.

Richie: you should be psyched. Nice lineup you got there. I'm looking forward to seeing Jamey battle it out with Jesse Anthony in the espoir ranks; that's going to be fun to watch.
As for the GMSR, the juniors were the highlight but the fields were marvelous this year. And it was nice to see the pro women have something to shoot for this year and not have to deal with Genevieve winning by a million miles again.
Now that the GMSR is over..............
BRING ON 'CROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alan's right. We had great weather, all the fields were incredibly competitive, and they all raced hard almost all the time. There was not a whole lot of soft pedaling going on. Bill C

Not to mention winning the field sprint in the crit. Needless to say he had a good weekend.
