I'm not sure if Konrad Lebas is going to be ribing for Richard this year, but if he is that's going to be awesome. I know I posted about how psyched I was about Konrad being with Sachs last year, and if he's there with Justin this year that's even better. They were the major reason we had to shuffle the start times for the road race. They were incredibly fast and we wanted to avoid them catching other fields. They finished in an 8up sprint at the top of App. Gap. That's unheard of. I clocked one of the big chase groups after Middlebury Gap, on a mostly flat, at sustained 40mph for a couple of miles. Yeah, he was missing something...its called a water bottle! I guess Justin was too busy this spring to notice the problem we had with littering, because he was the only one who felt the need to toss his 1 oz bottle!
Now if you want to talk about an impressive result look at 5th spot. I've known Dan since he was 17 and its good to see he's getting his head on straight with racing. Expect to see big results from him in 2005, and maybe even cross this fall.

As for the GMSR, the juniors were the highlight but the fields were marvelous this year. And it was nice to see the pro women have something to shoot for this year and not have to deal with Genevieve winning by a million miles again.
