  1. Really, can you all come here, line up and smack me in the face! I deserve
    it!

I got too cocky and now I am paying.

I had been so "in control" with LC these last few months that I was able to
relax during that TOM and even went ut for an ice cream sundae on 2
occasions. Other times had a not-so-LC-meal, or a little chocolate. All
these things may have caused a slight stall but no cravings or major
problems. Just a curve off my main LC road, ya know?

Well - Holy Halloween, Batman! I thought - "Hey, no prob - I can handle it.
I can eat what I want. AF is here anyway and I'll jusm right back on the
    wagon on Monday."

Yeah sure. At a Halloween party on Sat night I ate a few handfuls of M&Ms, a
few fun size candy bars, a giant scoop of Graveyard Pudding, a piece of
Apple Pie, a wedge of quesedilla w/cheese & beans, drank red wine.

Sunday morn I ate Ok but I had to bake a big cake for another party. I was
fine at home but at the my aunts house I ate alot of candy, while
trick-or-treating and after. then at dinner had a piece of my mom's awesome
lasagna. It was really the candy that I was eating like crazy. And drank
    more red wine!!

I couldn't handle it Monday morning. All I ate yesterday until 5:00 was
chocolate cake and halloween candy and water. At 5 I had some tuna, 7 I had
roast chicken & salad and by 10 I had a migraine. What a moron.

I bought a bunch of induction type foods yesterday to help me get over the
cravings today and I am resolved to get past this. The scale is so cruel -
can I really be up 5lbs since friday :o( wahhhhh

    I have been humbled...

Consider yourself smacked. It happens. Don't let it happen today.

Thanks - I know you are right. i had been LC for about 3 yeares before
having kids. This just hit me hard. I am doing ok so far today - cravings
are not there. i made sure I had breakfast.

I think that was part of it - i had too much cake, candy and temptation
around and I needed to go food shopping so the cupboards were pretty bare.
Already in a spiral it was easy to pick cake over a 4 day old hardboiled
    egg!

  5. Always keep some ZCarb bars or Zeroes around. They are as good as (or
better) regular candy and no sugar, no ols.

  7. You caught it in time,,,,,,we really didn't need Halloween this year. The
candy was way too tempting. I gave a large bowl to the senior's & a bag of
mini chocolate bars to my son,,,,and we still have to put some in the
freezer. The kids collected a lot this year. It is way too tempting to keep
    around.

I am giving it away too - some girl is making treat bags for disadvantaged
