How close are you to goal? Still have a 100 lbs to go? Within 20 lbs of
what most people would consider slender? Are you at a weight that you tend
to be able to reach easily when you diet but that it's always been hard
for you to get below?I'm assuming from your screen name that you're female. Premenopausal? Even
if you are losing weight, water retention can mask it for some women until
they drop the excess water.;Prior to this I did a low fat and watching calories diet, with the

;If you're close to goal or at your personal set point, most people find
the weight simply comes off more slowly. You may be doing the diet exactly
right and you just need to be patient and let it happen. On the other hand, if you've been back on track for 3 months, nowhere near
your goal weight and you're sure you're doing the plan properly (starting
w/ simply not eating too much), then maybe you should post some typical
days' menus for people to review.Martha
I have 80-100 pounds to lose. I've been back on Atkins 3 weeks with nothing
to show for it. In a typical day right now I'll eat:B - 1 hard boiled egg, and either 4 sausage links or an Atkins muffin
Remove the muffin.
Remove the sausage. Sausage contains sugar unless it's Boars Head brand.

L - Lean ham (not lunchmeat) or tuna wrapped in lettuce with 1/2 cup left
over veggie from night before. Or a salad with hard boiled egg and low carb
dressing
Make it no carb dressing.
What veggies?

D - lean meat (chicken breast, fish, hamburger patty) with one cup of some
sort of veggie
What veggies?

Snack - 2 ounce slice cheese or slice of summer sausage
Quit the sausage.
Go to fresh cooked plain meat spiced to taste.

I don't think I'm eating much at all, not hungry though. Am I eating too
lean for Atkins? The first time I did it I was eating a lot more fat like
bacon and sausage
I've had to cut calories back to 1,000 or less to continue losing.
I was at 1,200 and stalled for 3 months. Now that I cut back (and
actually measured what I was eating to be sure and not just
guesstimating) the scale is finally beginning to creep down again.
