Pendejo said:Maybe so, but that's pretty inconclusive since you've yet to
try football, by your own admission.

just constantly on the move and constant tackling for 80 minutes.
Nope, but then I wasn't the one making a claim that sounds like "I've
tried 'em all, and X is the best."
Although, constantly moving and tackling with no protective gear is
something we used to do, without much in the way of rules or goals
other than "guy holding the ball tries to avoid all the tacklers", as
kids. And I'll agree with you, 'twas glorious. At least when I had
the ball. As the smallest kid around I was fearless about being
tackled and pretty good at evading pursuers and staying on my feet
after contact, but a lot more apprehensive about trying to tackle
someone else half again my size. Ah, good times, good times.
Tell me, Dominic, do they make a special ruggedized rugby edition of
the Garmin? ;-p
I suppose I didn't explain the context, Rugby League is a game native
to Northern England, I'm from Wales where Rugby Union is the only
version played, yet still I found league better to play so I'm not
championing something in a parochial sense just stating what I found.
The Garmin is a fascinating thing in terms of the remarkably odd
reactions it provokes that interestingly a watch does not so would
almost worth be wearing purely to wind people up in a game but would
be outlawed in terms of wearing something likely to cause injury.
Back on the previous topic there are some fascinating comments here
