Pretty refreshing and cool to hear considering that it cost him the
lead. Gotta give him some serious credit since standard procedure is to
blame someone else. Both here and in Nascar.

I was please when I read that quote also. A simple, I messed up & it was my
fault. No equipment, teamate, competitor, or officials problem. It is sad
    that it is so rare.

He purposely threw himself on the ground hoping to benefit from the
adrenaline boost. LANCE, thinking quickly, neutralized the adrenaline
advantage by telling the peloton to wait.

Didn't we somehow conclude last year that purposely throwing oneself
down doesn't help? Though I don't remember the line of argument which
    led to that conclusion.

Was there a Chung chart to go with the argument? It's not coherent

Has any one considered that Chung could be a malevolent force
determined to corrupt rbr by misleading simple minds with complex
charts? Is there anyone left that would know if we're being duped?

Well, I've read my Tufte. I'm not always sure what he's graphing, but I
    like the presentation!
