i am just interested, do the hosts/ISPs every reply back to you once you have reported spam from certain IP addresses? I have reported spam coming from a domain or a certain IP directly to the webhosts and never got a reply.

If its spam i'll usually prune the users posts and then delete or ban the spammers account. I also send a complaint to the ISP/webhosts of repeat spammers.
