I have about 2lbs of ground beef some onion, cheese, bacon, numerous herbs,
a frying pan, a george foreman grill and an hour and a half. Appart from
burgers and sauseless meatballs is there anything else anyone can suggest
making?

Did the same but threw in a half can of diced tomatoes, without checking the
carb content,,,had to give it to the dog. Didn't realize there was so much
carbs in tomatoes.

Not if you buy tomatoes without added sugar. A 14 oz can of Kroger's diced
tomatoes with jalapenos has 14 net carbs and you don't eat the whole can at
one sitting. I have on hand also a large (28 oz) can of Del Monte diced
tomatoes, 24 net carbs for the whole can. I know some of you aren't in the
US so wouldn't have these brands but I imagine you have some available that
don't have sugar or HFCS added."sandy" <[email hidden]> wrote in message

Add some French Onion Dip and you make some kind of beef stroganoff out
of it. You can use sour cream instead. With just a few ingredients, you are limited. And half a million herbs
don't let you make different mouth textures either.Jim

sauté the meat and add taco seasoning (or make your own and add). Then,
chop up some onions and tomatoes and cheese. Make a bowl of salad greens
and pour the taco mixture over it. Top with the onions, tomatoes and cheese. It's like having a taco without the tortilla.

dieters.
My can label of Rotel diced tomatoes says only 4 carbs per 1/2 cup
plus 1 gram of fiber. I consider that an excellent choice especially
for those looking for more lycopene in their diet. I do diced
tomatoes daily and plan on continuing for the rest of my life.Pj

If you had some veggies you could make a nice soup. Next time you shop
bring home some veggies as well. Here are a couple of my favorite ground
beef soups.German Cheese Soup
2 lbs, ground beef

2 cans beef broth
Kale ( one half of a large bunch) 20 g
3( soup cans) water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cream Cheese 6 g
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. seasoned cheese (The originator of this recipe was from Germany, so
you have to find your own brand of cheese)Brown ground beef with seasoned salt and garlic powder or fresh garlic to
taste. Add leeks and sauté till tender. Add beef broth, water, kale, salt
and pepper. Cook slowly for 1 to 2 hours. Add cut up cream cheese and
seasoned cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted.Eggplant Supper Soup
2 tbs. butter 200 cal, 0 carb
2 tbs.olive oil or salad oil 200 cal, 0 carb
1 medium-sized onion, chopped 42 cal, 9 carb, - 2 fiber, net 7
1 lb. lean ground beef 1223 cal, 0 carb, 83 g fat, port 111
1 medium eggplant (about 1 lb.), unpeeled, diced 142 cal, carb 33, -14

2 cans (about 14 1/2 ounces each) beef broth 8 cal, 2 carb
1 tsp. Splenda (optional)

1 tbs. minced parsley negligible
Salt
Grated Parmesan cheeseMelt butter in oil in a deep 4- to 5-quart pan over medium heat. Add onion
and cook, stirring often, until soft (about 5 minutes). Crumble in beef and
cook, stirring often, until lightly browned. Stir in eggplant, garlic,
carrot and celery. Cut up tomatoes; stir in tomatoes and their liquid,
broth, sugar, pepper, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil over high heat; then
reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes. Add parsley, season to
taste with salt. To serve, ladle soup into bowls; offer cheese to add to
taste. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Totals, 2075 cal, 54 g fat, 81 net carb, 126 prot,

If you don't mind, how about adding your weight to your signature
line. We are curious about your progress. It's beginning weight,
current weight, goal weight.Pj
(19 months on Atkins - the last 14 have been at goal weight
plus/minus 4 pounds). -
If you had a few other ingredients you could make, Savory Cheesecake, or
stuff a pumpkin (basically a casserole).Good luck - I usually pick the 'go to restaurant' option.

low carb so bought some pickled onions and cauliflower to add to my lunch

wouldn't normally buy has been great for me. My mum always does the bulk of
the shopping so I've just been popping in and picking up some wee extras for

I looked at some fajita and taco seasonings today in the supermaker and they
were really really high in carbs....like 40g per 100g or something. I
bought some jars of cheese sauces which were around 3 to 5g per 100g of
sauce. -
