He attracted 1,000s and turned off 1,000s. Go read a Bible. I guess Christ
    wasn't worthy either.

Sorry my being openly Christian offends you. Please forgive me.

Openly Christian is fine. Openly sanctimonious and hypocritical git,
    however, causes some stress.

Excuse me while I retune my filters on a new computer.....

If I understand you correctly, you are also talking about every-day events-
meaning that Christ is offending people everyday. This means that people who
read the Bible are offended when they read what H/he said.

Now, if I understand it correctly, He offended those who were extremely
religeous, those who took something that might have been good and turned it
into rules and condemning all who dared not to follow those (man-made)
rules. And we have many, many people claiming to be christians who are
exactly like those He offended. And when someone comes and challenge their
"beliefs", they are immediately offended and utilize God and the Bible to
    punish their apponents.

The problem is that they claim to be chrisitians -like Christ- which is not
the case. My perception is that Christ has a "soft spot" for the widows,
orphans, and, yes, those who were condemned as sinners. If you agree with
the above (and please tell me if you don't) then it is wannabe christians
who regard themselves more important than the principles taught by Christ,
that offend people. Such a person takes any comment about his/her religeon
personal, which means that HE/SHE is the center of his/her religeon, not
    God.

Please tell me whether you agree or not, but more important, please tell me
    why.

Many are. Very few of those continue to read.

    Nothing untruthful there.

    No disagreement there.
