Studies show that for very low carb like staying on Induction.
But staying on Induction isn't the entire Atkins plan. Yet
another reason to follow the directions and move on to OWL
in week 3 no matter that staying low is allowed if you satisfy
the list of qualifying questions.
Stalls are common among folks who stay too low and who also
don't have plenty to lose. Increasing carbs per the OWL
plan resolves it.
So doing a carb load isn't the only way to handle this issue.
Eating enough total carbs does it as well.
It's interesting to note that the thyriod produces T3 and T4,
so reduction in only T3 isn't damage. Call it control perhaps.
Unintended or intended, damage isn't the right word. This
means that the change is reversible and sure enough both of
us gave methods to do so.
