This is an idea I had when I was working at a movie theater. You would
not believe the stupidity of customers.
It was a one screen, old art-house theater, showing mainly foreign
films. Only one movie at a time for weeks. Big marquee out front with
the name of the movie on it. Signs on the door, again with the name of
the movie, the show times, and the prices. A long sloping lobby you
have to walk down to get to the ticket booth with a glass front, which
has the same sign on it with the name of the movie, the show times, and
the prices.
People would open the door, walk down the lobby, stand in front of the
ticket booth close enough to the sign to lick it, and ask
"What are you showing? When does it start? How much is it?"
They'd ask for tickets to movies we weren't showing, and get mad at us
for not having them. "You don't have Star Wars? Every theater has Star
Wars!!!"
The sign lists the different prices for adult, senior and student
tickets. People would say "Two please" and I'd punch the tickets, take
the money, then give them their change, and THEN they would say "Do you
have student discounts?"
Big, easy to read menu behind the concession stand. Big popcorn maker
popping away, can't help but see it, can't help but hear it, and they
would ask "Do you sell popcorn?"
Display with the small, medium, and large popcorn containers, with big
labels saying SMALL MEDIUM or LARGE and they would ask "Which one is the
medium?"

I'm 29. I like "fitted" t-shirts, but not tight. I like mid-rise
jeans, not low-rise or high-rise. My personal style is sort of
OldNavy/Gap but on a Wal-mart/thrift store budget, with the occasional
edgier piece thrown in. I saw this jacket at Wal-mart I almost bought.
It _was_ in the junior's section, and it was just a cute fitted corduroy
jacket, but it was dark brown leopard print! I happen to love leopard
print if it's funky, not [censored]. But I decided I was too old, and got a
plain brown one. But now I kinda want to go back and get it. If
people say I _look_ 20 anyway, I can get away with it, right? Right?
