Now that's a very good point. Why on earth are such narrow mattresses so appallingly slippery? I've sometimes contemplated putting a thin sheet of non-slip rubber mat between the TAR and my zuzzing sack. Hmm, I'll be loitering within tent in just over a week's time. I may try the experiment to see if it works.

The new Thermorests have a kind of bubbly top which really does stop you sliding!
