Following the international diplomatic furore over supposedly racist
comments on Big Brother recently, I thought you may be interested to
see an excerpt from the CTC Grampian DA newsletter recently passed to
me. (For those who are geographically challenged, Grampian is in
Scotland.)

The <recently ordered> jerseys.... have sleeves that are too long for
us in Grampian. Some people say they are 5 inches too long. They were
made somewhere in England. Could it be that the average arm's length
is longer down South? Is it because down South they are closer to the
tropics and thus more closely related to forest-dwelling primates?"
