While I would rather pony up for a Racer-X, it seems unlikely that I'd get one for $1k. Even a
LocoMoto is over $1.1k. Hell, Dreamride has a Fango frame with CK headset and free shipping in the
Lower 48 for $995.

But for that coin, I could get a low-end Fuel, swap in my XT/XTR/Avid schwag and keep my beater as a
true beater. The fact is that I just don't ride as hard as you do, and my equipment needs are not as
stringent. I'm gonna take a bottom-end Fuel out this weekend, and put it to the test on some 6"
1track through the ID woods. We'll see how it compares to my beater.

If I read the rumors right, Castellano is gonna be cranking out the full Ibis line. If Speedgoat and
Dreamride carry the frames, I'm going to guess they have some confidence in the product. And they
