I thought that PRE-WorkOut I should drink the same protein/carbs like
POST-WorkOut. Now they tell me I should avoid fast carbos at any time
basides POST-WO.
What do you guys do?

I don't know who "they" are, but I like to drink a smoothie made of a
fitness drink, a banana, and a scoop of protein powder while I am
eating pasta around an hour and a half before my workouts.
PRE-Work out drink, I mean just before you hit the weights, or during warm
up.

Slow carbs prior, i.e. oatmeal.
Fast carbs after.
Bob,
Right before my workout and during my workout I drink water only.
Drinking other stuff can make me nauseous when I am doing something
such as squats or deadlifts or anything very intense. I tank up on
water during workouts and try to drink a lot of water all the time.
Right after the workout I drink a smoothie with protein powder,
fruit, honey, and soy milk. Then I eat a meal.
Sorry that I misinterpreted your definition of pre-workout.
James
These researches indicate that immediately before WorkOut we should drink
the same carbs+protein drink:

Bob,
I appreciate the links. I will look into drinking some of the
preworkout drink that I make (sports drink, banana, and protein powder)
immediately before I drive to the gym. I think my stomach should be
able to handle this. I will still drink a lot of water during the
workout.
Thanks,
James
