A cheaper option is the 520A(G), single pivot, same reach. Just keep looking
until you find someone with cheap shipping!

I considered a pair, but the Weinmann centrepulls that I'm using have more
reach than 57mm and they're at the bottom of their adjustment (700c in 27"
frame), so 52x's wouldn't work.

Kool-Stop Salmon pads, new housing and cable along with a pivot rebuild have
given me more than adequate stopping power.

I've had good results with aebike.com, they have sugino SS cranks for $54
which look similar to the ones you've posted, using 130bcd rings, or the
proper track Sugino 75's, 144bcd, for $157. Just make sure you confirm which
taper is on the cranks, I have some old Sugino Super Mighty's, and they have
the Campagnolo/ISO taper, not the Shimano/JIS taper. Campy BB's are dirt
cheap though, check out phantom cycles or your LBS for them.

That's exceedingly helpful! Now I just need to find out whether the
Dura-Ace/Ultegra inserts fits Sora calipers...I badly need pads for the
OCR3, and Kool-Stop salmons are just the ticket.

The Dura-Ace/Ultegra inserts do fit Sora (Tekro) calipers. I have some
on my bike. Surprisingly, my fixie with crappy dia-compe brakes with
Kool Stop Eagle Claw II pads feels like it can stop quicker than my
Sora roadbike with the Dura-Ace Kool Stop inserts (same tyres even,
Continental Gatorskins). The pad is a bit bigger on the Eagle.

Interesting...their catalogue is identical to AEB except that their prices
are somewhat higher.
