I didn't know DOS anything still existed. Can they still be used?
Oh yeah. They work fine on my Win98 machine. Might have problems with a newer operating system, but even if you have XP you could still boot your computer with an old DOS floppy and then run it.

Good grief yes! 'Specially if you've got a version of Win 3.1 or 95 hanging around on a machine somewhere. Win98 isn't quite as keen on them, but they can still work. And of course, there are plenty of Windows versions of text-based games, including the Colossal Cave, which I downloaded, remembered how frustrating it could be... and then found my oldest son having a go at it! -- Fran If you need my email address please ask.
