I have forgotten what it is, but it has cotter pins, a "real" seat (that was good xx years ago, and
some of the current ones on ebay seem to have). Seems to have the same bearing arrangement as a TM
ringmaster, but not sure if its one of them. Slight rust discolouration in places, but chrome
otherwise. Not sure if its "tall" enough.

No idea what is reasonable price for such a thing, but the P+P makes it a little impractical

accordingly. (I'd even ordered the "take over the world" white cat.) Sadly, I had to be induced to
pop out a month early (Nov '64).

Nah, it was a fun idea. I wouldn't be all that surprised to see Porsche putting a bike on sale,
plenty of other car manufacturers have done so in the last few years (Land Rover, Mazda and BMW
spring to mind).

And a unicycle would be a nice counterpoint to a Porsche penis extension
:-)

Porsche did at one point sell a high end mountain bike, back in the early 90's IIRC and in a
tasteful fluo green/pink.

Porsche did, as David Martin notes. The one which ticled me, though was the Audi Quattro, or
possibly quattro, MTB, which apparently had considerable design input from former world rally
champion Walter Roehrl. The story went something like this:

Audi PR Munchkin: And this is the new Audi Quattro, or possibly quattro, mountain bike.
