You ride 50 miles everyday? Surely you meant 20 miles.

30 mph is fast if you can keep it there for more than a few minutes. But I
always enjoy hearing how fast some guys are going downhill. I usually meet
them at the bottom later when an ambulance and the police are on the scene
trying to reconstruct what happened. It is always the same - going too fast
for conditions. The only scenario that really interests me is how fast you
can be going uphill on a recumbent.

My current daily route is 52 miles

My God! That is amazing! That must be some kind of record. You make me feel
like a piker as I only do 20 miles a day. But then I am slower than you are
and it would take me damn near all day to ride 50 miles.

Shhhhhh,

Let's just leave Mark in the dark. He's happy on the "old school"
Baron. NoCom's are for cutting edge enthusiasts with the motor to power
the fastest stock bike in existence.

Mark,

Now just how long did you hold the plus 30 mph speeds? Was it a nice long
descent?
Tailwind assisted? Perhaps drafting a semi? Or do you have a electric
assist of sorts
on the bike?

Trouble is you just can't prove it yet

I never said the NoCom wasn't fast and I'm sure it is an excellent choice
for racing just as a low Baron, Jester or M5 is, I see no reason or proof it
is "the next big thing" compared to those bikes as you have made it out to
be.

And I imagine it IS faster than my Baron since I have a standard Baron not
setup as a race bike and I am not in racing condition

about 2 miles each time, no draft or downhill or electrics and I don't
recall any semi's around, It appears you are decending back into your Johnny
NoCom ego again Ed

No? Not even the fact that Neil Fleming is averaging 2mph faster than
any comparable bike in the BHPC series?

Just because it's Ed Gin posting it doesn't necessarily make it wrong.

It doesn't take much to figure out who Johnny NoCom is when he posts
messages such as this

Apparently you do since you can't resist commenting back

I could be wrong but I suspect part of the problems you seem to have with
everyone else is your method of delivery, had you come into this newsgroup
or BROL and said "Gee I just got in this NoCom and boy is it faster than
anything else I've ridden" instead of what you posted as Johnny you might
not have met with as much resistance. I guess some people have their
quirks...

Hey Ed. You forgot to change the settings on your computer again.
Why was there no reply to this post?

Jumpen' Jesus on a pogo stick! You're still trying to weasel your way
out of this one? This is like that scene on Monty Python and The Holy
Grail where the Black Knight is trying to bravely stand his ground as he
gets his limbs chopped off one by one.

And it's not a hunt when you walk by a dead monkey on the road then tell
the others "Hey guys! Check out the dead monkey!"

If that were true you would not keep referring to it.

You asked for data from designated race venues, it was provided. First place
is the fastest for the day in case you forgot.

No point in educating the ignorant.

Joao,

I've offered a lucrative multi thousand dollar offer to you before.

How about this one? Prove conclusively I am the author of posts as
Johnny NoCom and I'll happily hand you $10,000 in USA Dollars.

And remember, you'll have to supply personal data for a 1099.

Money talks and all your bull is irrelevant.

Ed Gin......with a signficant financial statement to back up my
position........

How's this for a reply? Nget, Joao, and anyone who wants $10,000
just prove I am the author of all the Johnny NoCom posts.

Depends on the race. The 800+ mile End To End record in the UK is set
by a Windcheetah (41 hrs 4 minutes).

Acknowledged, but my point was that it would be nice if so many of your
posts didn't appear to be based on the assumption that this group is
called alt.rec.bicycles.recumbent.racing.unfaired
