1) How much (So I know how jealous to be)?
2) Why didn't you phone up and ask them to save it for you after you got
management approval?
3) Did you finish the Talisker before you took the picture?

I sent them an email as soon as approval was granted. I did not get a
reply. If this had been a business as opposed to a charity, I would have
taken this as an indication that they were possibly not the best of
organisations to do business with. However as it is a charity I was
prepared to accept that the mailbox might be low on the priorities. As
it turned out when I was paying, I mentioned the lack of response for
the email and the chap serving said that he had seen it and passed it to
someone to respond so it looks like a simple human error on the part of
a volunteer. Since I now have the bike, it doesn't really matter.

The Talisker is actually reasonably full. The bottle with the least in
is the Dalwhinnie, closely followed by the Bladnoch 13yr. The fullest
bottle is the Highland Park as the seal is still intact. I finished off
the last from it's predecessor last weekend.
