Lynskey Ti Frames

I'm surprised the 'shop owner' can be so clueless. The Lynskey family
STARTED Litespeed, grew it to the American Cycle Group with Merlin,
QR, etc., then sold it. 2 years later they started making ti frames
again, in Oootawah TN.."Some guys that jumped ship" is a real hoot.
Shopowner needs to do some homework. Level 1 homeblend starts at
$1750...we are a Lynskey dealer, have been for about 18 months.

For $550, an Otis would be super cool, but at the list price, I'd save
up a fifty and get the fully equipped Novara Fusion. The SWOBO brand
seems like contrived anti-fashion or a ferrous Avril Lavigne--but
that's just from looking at the web piktures.

I really don't have any investment in the family politics of these
frames, just saw a cool ti frame on a wall with neat dropouts. You
people in the business can run along and have your soap operas.

To me "Jumped ship" has a bad connotation, like rats leaving a sinking
ship. The Lynsky's created Litespeed, sold it and now are creating a
new business while Litespeed continues. Sounds like they are building
ships, not "jumping ship"

i mean wider at one end than the other, not ovalizing.

/real/ stays are made tapered /and/ with greater wall thickness at the
bb end to resist bending and fatigue. someone using plain tube either
doesn't understand or is being cheap.
