walk around the area, but was only able to grab two or three shots
before the sun disappeared, but I was lucky to get those.
At the top of this path it gets very steep and narrow and cuts between
gorse bushes to a stile in the fence at the top. A couple of months ago,
just as I got to this bit, I saw the rear end of a cow at the top right in
front of the stile. I didn't fancy this at all as from memory, there was
nowhere for the cow to go, except back down and I wouldn't want to be
coming down there in a hurry.
So I did what we normally do with sticky problems at work - sat down and
had a cup of tea. By this time I had been joined by a couple of people, and
we all thought there was no other way through the gorse. We were just
starting to explore the possibilities in the adjacent field, when we
realised we couldn't see the cow any more. We quickly nipped up the path
and found half a dozen cows in a line squeezed tight between the fence and
the gorse!
