  1. Does anyone make a compact crankset in a 177.5 or 180mm?

It looks like everyone stops at 175.

    Thanks

Any 110/74 crank will do, including standard road triples and older MTB
    cranks.

Ritchey had such made by Sugino, you might still be able to find
some. Seems Sugino is now selling the reminders under their brand,
cold forged aluminium, square taper, nicely made.

TA and Truvativ both do to 177.5, TA is the only one I know of that has
180....We sell 'em, the TA that is.

175 is just the most common size; 180 isn't supplied in every brand
and model, and often isn't found in lbs on-hand inventory, but
reputable shops know where to get them.
