Obviously this demands consideration. Puerto has obviously rather shaken up the hierarchy, even among those who have not been identified. Clearly one can't accuse any individual, but with such shocking results in the time trial, both at the top and the middle, the chemical element is the most obvious factor.

Levi is very tactfully trying to avoid seeming to trash the Norcal racing calendar by finally admitting that Copperopolis and the Wente Road Race aren't the best early season training launch pads for racing in Europe in July.

Levi rode in the 2006 DL as he did in the 2005 DL, not harder this year. He was 6th in last year's Tour. The top 5 placers from 2005 are not around for 2006.
