Before the latest confirmation of his positive tests over this weekend, the Landis interview in last months Cycle Sport magazine quoted him as saying...... "whatever happens (in the upcoming test results) they can't take away the 2006 TDF title from me".
Indeed Floyd.
Hello Mr. Limerickman how are you?
Get the June 2007 edition of Bycicling magazine. You'll find a fairly extensive interview w/ Landis.
Here's a quote by him: "If you are innocent" says Landis, "The way the system is set up, you don't stand a chance unless you take on the system. That's unacceptable in America."

Did you expect him to say that he was guilty? He's as bad as Tyler and has the same lawyer, and so will never admit his guilt publicly.
He's obviously fishing for some nationalistic fervour with that last sentence. He'd have been much better off riding for another team that can work out how to dope without getting caught. The doctors at Phonak should be ashamed of themselves.

An athlete who failed (now several) drug tests blaming "the system". What a shocker.
