    why are you copying lance?
are you that much of a loser?
do you dress up as lance and pretend to be him?
    PATHETIC

    hahahahahaha😄

Wow, so you are basically saying that if you want to be like your role model or something along those lines, you're pathetic?

That's like saying if your son wants to dress/be like you, you think he's a loser and pathetic. Man, your logic is PATHETIC! If for some reason you have kids, bummer that they can't look up to you and want to be like you. Then again, for someone that believes hard work and what not is thanks to doping, then being a role model is probably pretty absurd for you.

I can't wait for the day when I have kids and I pray that I do a good enough job that they want to be like me. It's one of the greatest compliments in the world. Money, and in your 'theory', dope, can't get that.

People find other people that achieved and shown dedication in their lives, and as a result, strive to, and set goals to work their asses off in hope to someday be as close as they can to the same caliber as their role model.

It seems your vocabulary consists of: a) loser b) pathetic c) hahahahahaha d) dope.

um yea, some of us have actual jobs. i work 9-6:30 weekdays and still manage to get in 3 hours everyday. (ever do half a ride outside the other half on a trainer?) i do. don;t flatter yourself mr. dedicated.

Not working very hard if you're posting at 11:55 am! Or, is it the night shift?

    Sorry, I couldn't resist! lol.

  3. [quote="frenchcycling"]i see you have been watching the discovery channel specials. the fact of the matter is that all cyclists have those abilities, they just don't have tv shows on it.

In that case I feel that I have been screwed over. I want my enhanced abilities or did you mean pro cyclists.

  4. it's just cuz he is awesome

what in the hell is your problem? I didn't personally attack you. I just used your comment as an example. Merely stating that Lance isn't doping, he is consistantly riding his bicycle. If you ride for 3 hours a day everday, then I am sure that you realize that you are in better shape than someone who rides for 5 hours once a week.

Also for your information. I am not out riding my bike to prove anything to anyone but myself. You see I am out on my bike because I enjoy it, I get a good feeling in my body when I ride. I am NOT out there for you, or for anyone else. I am NOT interested in racing, or posting my stats online in hopes of winning anybodys approval. All of the people who post their stats and talk about how awesome they are as a cyclist. Are just trying to make up for the lack of [censored] they don't have in their pants. Do you get my point? The point of my whole response was. Quit worrying about Lance Armstrong for once in your life, and go out and ride your bike for yourself.

My son has taken to riding - he's almost 7 and easily rides 20 miles - on a 30# single speed BMX bike!

Unfortunately he's a doper. He has an inhaler for "asthma" - but I just know he's doing it as a PED. It makes me sick to see how early it starts. I think his pediatrician is in on it - he say's he's a cyclist and he has a picture of a Ferrari on his office wall! I found some cortisone cream in the medicine cabinet yesterday - allegedly from the days of diaper rash - but I'm not buying it.

He told me the other day that he doesn't want to be the next Lance Armstrong. He said he wants to be the next Ivan Basso! I don't know though - I just bought him a new Trek and he's pestering me for a "Discovery Channel Yellow Jersey" so he can be like Lance.

Oh well, we still have great rides together even though he cheats. 😄

Which do you think gives Lance that extra edge when he beats his rivals by mear seconds, his doping or his training?

Over on the Firearms Forums we call this Trolling.
We know how to rid the Forum of Trolls 😉

    Great point TD.
I have a son who is just turning 9 and he loves to get on the bike and ride. The main reason is because I love the sport so much and talk about bikes and riding with him very often. We make it a point to get out when we can and usually end up with a race home at the end. He usually wins though.😕 😉
I for one look to Lance as an awesome role model and if I or my son could ever reach that level........ Imagine!!!!!
    😎

  10. I always love to see people twist themselves into pretzels with their contradictory logic about LA and doping. Their first point is always that he must be doping because EVERYBODY is doping...or because the top 10-20 riders all dope, therefore, since he is one of them, he is doping too. Then they turn around and assert that the reason he sends them all home crying is because he is doping. Wait! Didn't they just say that all of the others are doping too? So if they are all doping, and so is LA, why is he spanking them?

Face it, if you believe they are all doping, then his training and technology allow him to beat them all. If they aren't all doping, then you lose the reason you believe he must be doping too...and he still beats them all because of his superior training and technology. Either way you slice it, LA just works harder at it than anybody else. He was doing it as a 14 year old and he is doing it as a 30+ cancer survivor. Was he really doping at 14? Or was he just better at racing than all his competitors?

    Well said!
    I totally agree.
If you are consistantly get your butt handed to you on a platter, it must be because that person is cheating, not because they have dedicated their live to making sure they can't be beat.
    LA rocks. Pure and simple!
    😎

  12. No matter what the truth is anymore anyway.

Even if Lance doped, now that he is retired, he can't be busted, so until he admits as much it is all conjecture. Lance didn't dope, because he never tested so. Being retired now will never prove it anyway. Let it go haters, you will never, ever, ever find your definitive proof. Move on.

Euros criticizing a Yank because he keeps winning, what a surprise. 😎

the guy is clearly on dope

Prove it because no one else has been able to.

back in 98 most if not all of the peleton was on drugs yet the average speed is higher today, please explain?

Lets see, better bikes, improved training techniques, better dietary habits, supplementation....see you're looking back 7 years ago and as with anything, innovation and improvements in training and equipment can account for increased speed. Sorry but I don't think you'll win the Mr. Obvious Award with that question. 😕
