  1. This is a traditional Danish summer dish for the hot days.

    Koldskaal
    ----------
    1 liter of buttermilk
1 liter of neutral yoghurt or sourcream
    4 eggs
    3-4 oz sugar
    4 tsp vanilla
    2 lemons

Whip the eggs, sugar and vanilla until foamy. Stir in the juice of the
lemons and the milk products. Normally served with kammerjunkere (a type
of crunchy vanilla biscuit available in all stores here).

Take your precautions on the raw eggs as you see fit.

How nice to "see" you again, after such a long time. The recipe
sounds like a wonderfully cool treat for a hot afternoon.

I frequently think of you and your little niece and I wonder how both
or you are doing. Good to hear from you!

I saw her today and she had broken her arm by falling from a playground
climb thingy, but she was in a fine mood. It only hurt sometimes, she said.

Hi, Michael, What are you doing now? Are you working or still
    pursuing your studies?

I am sorry about your little nice, Cecilia, right? Please, tell her
that I am sending her a great big "hello" from New York City and wish
her a speedy recovery from her fall.

The "Climb Thingy" is called a Monkey Bar. :o)

It is hot here. For lunch, I will have something cool and simple,
cottage cheese with cut up radishes, cucumbers and scallions. Perhaps
I will have a glass of buttermilk with it, it I go shopping and get
    some this morning.
