Vernon has a Racelight made up into a tourer by Specialised Cycles in Norwich. It's a lovely bike, I have to say.

Is it definitely the Racelight and not the Racelight T, if I knew that the Racelight took mudguards then I would prefer it as it is a good bit lighter than the "T".

Racelight or Racelight T? The latter has rack mounts and mudguard clearance. Seems to be a nice frame - pity it's only got one eyelet per dropout. I'm currently very slowly putting one together (tandems take priority). The matching ally forks definitely have mudguard clearence for the narrow SKS ones (35mm?), despite what the bike shop said (their demo bike had salomons). (not sure about the Racelight - I thought it was more of a racing bike).

I'm also just putting a Racelight T together for audax and light touring. I got the carbon forks (£99) and these have a lot of clearance. Can't get the seat pin to fit though so it may have to go back to be reamed (can you do that with alloy frames)

Thanks, I was in the LBS again to-day and had another look at the Frame in question. I agree it is a nice frame, not too heavy and a good price. I'm not sure how long I can hold out !
