...why don't some of you libs offer that up to him...

We could. Maybe we will. We were just still in the, hang in there, dude, life gets better phase of the chat.

A 13 year old kid comes into a forum full of adults who regulalry chat with him, and he's furious about the kids in his rural town who pick on him. Christ, what's the sense in telling him it's his fault, that he deserves it, or in likening him to the Columbine killers? What's the sense in that unless you're simply a forum rival of a different political disposition, and you feel like taking the opportinuty to start a little something?

Liken him to Columbine killer? I believe I stated that he needed to find a way to vent his anger before he got to that point. But thats ok you can twist it any way you want.
Tell him its his fault? Yes after I was called names. Seems that is his modus operandi.

Without knowing too much about Ryan's classmates, I'm gonna venture a guess and say you've got a heap more class and wisdom in you than his redneck pals do. For one, you're into cycling. That counts for a lot. Goes for C.Ryder too, while I'm at this "props" thing (whoop, there it goes. Props done).

Ryan just needs to find someone to talk to. Maybe he can test the waters with those he rides with. A long ride with someone who just listens could work wonders. Sure would make dealing with idiots easier.

We have a gas stove and I like to play with matches. I just wish I didn't have to wear this damn white helmet everywhere I go.

I think this whole thread conversation combined with altitude sickness is starting to get to Colorado Ryder...

A big American flag, actually, and a California one, and a City of Oakland one too. Practically at eye level.

I guess nobody else is seeing red either. I guess you can tell I hate media labels such as blue states and red states.

Part of my family is from Memphis, Tenn. Home to the Great Smoky Mountains, most picturesque portion of the Appalachian Mountains, in my opinion. Coming from a tree-hugger--me  - that says alot 🙂

Downtown, corporate McLean-bricks & concrete, corporate juggernaught of Northern Virginia. All of the trees have been paved under to make way for corporate offices/malls/hotels. I'm sitting on top of what used to be a farm at Tysons Corner in a four story cookie-cutter apartment. I can see Bechtel's corporate office from my window. Heard of them?
