Do just what you did, but include useful information or ask a reasonable
question. -

Go to http://news.individual.net/ and follow the instructions, you
register first then they send you your password etc, then you set up your
browser in accordance with their excellent instructions and away you go,
all, well most, of usenet at your fingertips.--

No but I'll certainly be contacting John Wheatley College to
report your teacher's ineptitude regarding newsgroups.--

Everyone! Help! Fran's newsgroup ID has been stolen by a
foul-mouthed Scottish student.Oh, hang on. No. There's definitely some punctuation AND some
correctly capitalised letters. It can't have been a stoodent; it
must've been Fran after all.Judith

No I don't. I'd like for your lecturer to learn how to use them though.

You've obviously never seen me in a mood before then. It does
happen, occasionally, but I usually try to maintain a modicum of
decorum on Usenet. Unfortunately, these idiots from the SCA
thoroughly p*** me off and bring out the worst in me. Of course,
if I've offended anyone I'll apologise...

Oh. OK. I'll just say then that I might be about to embark on my
first solo backpack in a fortnight's time; actually it'll be my
first backpack and my first solo, so it'll be a double first.
Unless it's supposed to be persisting down with wet stuff, in
which case I'll blag a bed for the night and just - maybe - do
day walks instead in my chosen area.
