You really, really don't need a GPS to walk Hadrian's Wall. You don't even
need a map, although I'd admit one would be handy. It's a damn great wall.
You can't miss it. There are a few bits that have had modern (well, new
since the 17th century) roads built on top of it, and there are a few bits
where it's been completely robbed out. But it isn't hard to find, and it
isn't hard to follow. Your ancestors built to last.
