Hi everybody, I'm new on the NG.
I'm from Italy and planning for a long walk in May along Hadrian's Wall
National Trail.
I'm looking for suggestions and GPS data (POI's and tracks) of this trail:
anyone can help me?
Thanks
Enrico

You really, really don't need a GPS to walk Hadrian's Wall. You don't even
need a map, although I'd admit one would be handy. It's a damn great wall.
You can't miss it. There are a few bits that have had modern (well, new
since the 17th century) roads built on top of it, and there are a few bits
where it's been completely robbed out. But it isn't hard to find, and it
isn't hard to follow. Your ancestors built to last.

Apparently it was mainly guarded by troops from modern-day Belgium,
although I don't know if they built it too.

And amusingly amongst the peace keepers were Iraqis (Tigris boatmen).

And Hadrian himself was Spanish, not Italian.
