I live in the worthless expanse of land known as the
midwest where every warm spring day comes with 10-20 mph
winds that seem to change direction so that I am always
riding into a headwind. The faster you ride, the stronger
the resistance, it's almost deafening, all I want to do is
relax with a nice brisk ride without all of that racket. I
sincerely hate this place.
So what can I do to improve this situation? I ride in the
drops, my back is almost parallel to the ground, my head
down as much as possible. I don't want to get aero bars
because I mostly ride besides fast traffic (another benefit
of living in this wasteland). Would deep aero wheels be of
any benefit?
