Hmmm. Interesting. I stopped losing weight at 40 gms/day. I was
thinking, for me, maybe 40 would BE maintainance...?
So, I dropped back to 20 a week ago. But, I was already having the
headaches, even at 40. So...if I have to go to 45 to stop the
headaches...Im afraid my weight loss will also stop, altogether.

I bet you get a LOT more exercise than I do. (the average paraplegic
gets more exercise than I do!)

Im starting to think...I probably just need to get offa my butt and JUST
DO IT, like the Nike commercial says. If I up my carbs AND seriously UP
my ex., that will be the winning combo.

Much as I hate it....(WHY do I hate it so much???) Im just gonna have to
do it. Clearly, if I stop losing weight at 40 gms, BUT have
headaches...and if I need 45 to make the headaches stop....the only
other factor is the ex. right? There's just no getting around it. (and
    god knows, Ive TRIED!)

Ive got a bad attitude aout exercise.I didnt used to, but I do, now.
Believe it or not, there was a time when I walked 6 miles to the gym,
worked out for an hour and a half and walked back home five times a
    week!

But that was then...and this is now...

I gotta get a new 'tude.

    Thanks

  3. FOB--I have been kind of doing that--I eat 'breakfast" around 11, then
"dinner" around 4. If Im feeling peckish later, 'll have a Tbs. of
peanut butter, or some pork rinds or nuts or a LC ice cream bar. Eating
doesnt seem to matter--the headache comes either before or after I eat
    my LC meal.

Tylenol doesnt work too well for me--or at least, it didnt some years
back. Maybe 'll give them another try.

    Thanks

I find that aceteminophen (generic Tylenol) works better on headaches
than anything else. From what I read it is also the most benign of the
OTC painkillers. Maybe you could plan your carb consumption for the day
so most of it comes shortly before the headache is due.

no. I was supposed to have had blood drawn the end of June but havent
done it. I wlll def get that done next week, then make an appointment to
see my doc. While Im there, I'll ask him about a hypoglycemia test. As
I recall, that includes having several blood samples drawn over a three
    or four houtr period?

    Lass

Depends on your doctor as to which testing he chooses. :-)

If he does a glucose tolerance test then yes.
They draw a fasting sample then give you a glucose load to drink.
Draw one sample at 1/2 hour, then 1 hour, then 2 and 3, and sometimes 4
    hours.

  18. I DID NOT do any exercise during my weight loss. I only started exercising
about 2 1/2 months ago to reshape my abs, butt and thighs. I've lost all
the weight I safely can (I weigh 108 pounds and wear a size 1) so I had no
choice. I hate it but I'm getting results so will continue.
