Lot of punctured lungs out there that day!

First time I have enjoyed a big crosswind race, I spose it's cos I didn't get spat out the **** for once:o

Nice report and thanks to that done useful power meter and .WKO we can see just how hard you worked. All you need now is some Gizmocranks and with that 40% average increase in performance in trained athletes you will have a NP of 460 watts for 2.30hrs which means I would love to prepare you to break the Hour record seeing that Boardman and Obree were below 430watts for 60min when they set their records😄

  7. Jono,

Sounds like fun and a good write up. How are the bones mending? Who's CT - the guy in the picture?

Fergie sounds as bitter as always.

Bones are ok, just had my wisdom teeth pulled so after I've rested up for a few more days should be good to go.

40% improvement would be real nice😄

By calculation I still have 10% of that improvement to come :p but the fact that I'm typing this after 90 minutes on the trainer and 7 beers really doesn't help the cause... LOL All the goals that I set at the start of the year have been met - call this an extended and over exhuberant 'month or two' off the bike.

I got the new bottom bracket in and the man-cranks back on the bike and got my ass well and truely kicked. I new I shouldn't have waited as long as I did to replace the square bearing, square taper bottom bracket.

See, if you read these forums you pick up on 'secrets'--- like we see here under 'how to remove excess weight when you are already lean'...tooth removal. Good to know. 🙂

With those ergo levers that you have do you really need the little fingers? :p It's just something that adds a few grams and sticks out in the wind.
