OK so a while ago oneisenough said he got that Sunpak wide-angle lense,
but the video he made never came out. I'm looking to buy one (hopefully
$40 or less) so I was wondering if any of you more experienced camera
people knows whether 'this' (http://tinyurl.com/yt6dga) would be a good
buy or not. Thanks.

Looks pretty good for $40, and I think thats what Oneisenough
has....it's 0.5x Wide angle which is good. I would go for it, Looks
kinda similar to mine...

I would go for it.

yeah thats the one thing I didnt like about it....The screen is so
smudgy...but still...its a really awesome camera.

Sam, Ive tried uploading some footage of the HD to Vimeo, and it
uploads it all distorted...Like its filmed 16:9 and I used 16:9 but
when I upload it to Vimeo it makes it look like 4:3, any tips?

Thanks, Isaac

Same thing happens to me with vimeo and youtube.

Anyway, I picked up the Sunpak wide-angle lens and I like it a lot. The
only thing I have a question on is my UV protection lens that I've been
using. The box of the wide-angle lens says to take off any lenses and
filters before putting on the wide-angle. I was thinking oh, I'll just
put on the wide-angle lens and then the UV lens ontop, but the wide
angle has no threads. Is it bad to put the UV on the camera lense, and
then the wide-angle ontop of the UV even though it says not to?

Issac-
When you are exporting your video you are going to want to use a custom
size. Save the video as 1280x720, it should upload to vimeo fine at
theat size and vimeo will understand that it is HD You will get the
full HD treatment.

Let me know how that works.

P.S if you set the bitrate to 3000kbps, you should have decent
resolution while keeping the file size smaller.

Hi i was wondering if anyone knows why there are pauses between some of
the clips in my movie 'http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lmei41nFNg'
(http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lmei41nFNg.Use) .I use windows movie
maker and my camera saves into the mpeg-2 format.Could it be that wmm
doesnt like the format ? It seems to do it more if i add video effects
to a clip.
