  1. Hi Nick..

Where abouts would you be coming from? ...should have some spare space
in the car if you're between London and the lakes..

Are there any dates proposed yet?

OK, steady on chaps. How about weekend of 9/10 April at the

    Brotherswater

campsite? Or is that a bit close to Easter?

The Lakes in April is something I can probably do, especially if I

    can share

the journey with someone else to save costs. I am flexible on dates

    but make

    a decision soon!

I camped at Brotherswater back in 1997 and it was great, if a little

    pricey

back then. Food there was excellent then, hope it's as good now.

  2. I'm in Epping, Essex but I could drive to someones house if I could leave
the car there safely. That way it mean only one car doing the 400+ mile trip
up north instead of two or more.
Alternatively, if someone wants to go with me in my car, I'm open to offers.

  3. How long before a common date is arrived at, suitable for the majority?

Great location, week later would be better [?]

Not for me. Two weeks later would be possible (23/24 April).

here we go again .. :-)

23/4th no use for me For some strange reason I'm running a half
    marathon on the 24th.

Which probably rules out the following week to!

And more importantly, how long before we have a debate about the only
real important matter, namely the name and number of the
    expedition/walk/trip/meet/informal gathering?
