" Eddie was hired in 1977 as the National Team Coach for the United
States Cycling Federation. He served as the head coach for the 1980
and 1984 Olympic Teams. His athletes won nine Olympic medals in 1984,
a feat unmatched in American cycling history. After twelve years with
the USCF, he became the director sportif for several professional
teams including Subaru-Montgomery and United States Postal Service. In
2001, he was the domestic director sportif for the Mercury Cycling
Team."
" Eddie has coached a number of top road and track cyclists, including
Lance Armstrong, Greg LeMond, Rebecca Twigg, Steve Hegg, Harvey Nitz,
and Andy Hamsten, to name a few."
Didn't Steve Hegg LOOSE his Olympic Gold medal for using steroids?
And weren't Andy and Greg on that team?
Why have they waited until now to say something?
Lance seems to have gotten faster after dumping Eddie B. and going
on CTS. This whole "Lemond thing" is surely sour grapes over Lance
leaving Eddie B's program and jumping on CTS.
Don't forget to go to the Eddie B. site to see Greg and Heggs business
associations with Eddie B.
Kind of makes you wonder if this is really all about money and
who trains the Tour winner?
