Is anyone else using DRC rims?
I have a new wheel built with a DRC touring rim and I am finding Conti
Top Touring tyres are very tight on the rim. I am having to use tyre
levers to put the tyre back on the rim and I have already broken one
of my tyres levers getting the tyres off :-(

Continentals are generally thought to be tight-fitting. I found my DRCs a
little bigger than Mavic T217s or Open Pros. Vredestein Perfects were tight
on the DRCs, but not on T217s, while Panaracer Paselas were an easy fit on
both. Paselas are typically loose on Open Pros, in my experience.
There are special levers - the Crank Bros Speed Lever, for example - that
are designed to ease the removal of very stubborn tyres. I haven't tried
them, but others have reported finding them useful. Worth a try?

Do you want to borrow a set of VAR levers to try for ease of
removal/fitting.

Order placed - thanks. I Hope it gets to me before Saturday - I am
doing an Audax and feel a little exposed if I puncture at the moment.

Levers arrived and used. Very effective for the Conti/DRC combination.
