Top road racers don't do stunts like this because they use the off-season to sue people, establish relationships with their au pair, or film commercials.
You never saw Hinault, LeMond or Armstrong doing nonsense like this.
Here Horner stops mid race to sign a jersey, and still wins:http://www.smithersmpls.com/2006/11/chris-horner-autograph-hard-way.html
The race is the Saturday Jingle Cross in Iowa City. Who'd a thunk they'd have podium babes in Iowa.http://www.jinglecrossrock.com/2006-home.htm

The web designer is proud enough of his work to put his name at the bottom, along with "please contact us if you have technical troubles with this webpage."

That is possibly the ugliest web page design I've seen in years.
My monitor's running 1024 x 728 and doesn't begin to encompass the ghastliness.
But where's the "disgrace" in that for a cycling group.

And they have to label them.
Dude,
That''s a good thing. It keeps you from forgetting their names in a beer-enhanced oxygen-deprived haze while chatting them up at the post-race party.

Its the 21st century, baby. Why can't they have RFID chips embedded so we can just scan them to get all their vital details, not just their name.

It's not just ugly, it's also technically bad. It's like Homer Simpson's page before Lisa fixed it, only not as functional.
